We’ve used GB beds a few times over the years and recently for a couple of double beds. Very helpful in the showroom & delivering goods, they offer to help get your bed upstairs. We required help with the second bed which was done quickly, professionally and willingly with care added with home wall obstacles and even attached together. Yes, small double divan beds are the same size as queen beds in the UK, the only difference is the terminology used. Rather surprisingly, the term ‘Queen Bed’ is actually primarily an American one, but as with most things, the US version of a Queen bed is actually much bigger than the UK counterpart.

However, it’s important to note that the size of your bed can impact the possible number of drawers you can take advantage of. However, our small double divan beds can accommodate up to 4 drawers, so potentially plenty of space for your belongings.  

Typically, divan beds are delivered in two to three pieces, with the base of the bed split into two parts that need to be ‘assembled’ by yourself or the delivery personnel if that service is available. The headboard for the bed is also delivered separately and will need to be attached to your bed or wall depending on the type of headboard you opt for.
