We required help with the second bed which was done quickly, professionally and willingly with care added with home wall obstacles and even attached together. You want to be able to open the lid of your ottoman bed without any obstructions restricting its movement or blocking it, such as any walls or surrounding furniture. So, we recommend you assess your room layout to help you decide which one is best for you. 

A simple way to determine whether or not a side opening ottoman bed is good for you is by measuring your space and assessing your surrounding areas. For example, if one side of the bed has a clear area, while the foot of the bed is close to a wall or furniture, then a side-opening ottoman bed is likely to be the better choice. Alternatively, if you have more space at the foot of the bed than along the sides, an end-opening ottoman bed may be the right one for you. 

As a general rule of thumb, long and narrow bedrooms often suit end-opening ottoman beds more, while wide open bedrooms with a clear space along one side often suit side-opening ottoman beds. However, we always recommend you to measure your space beforehand to double check.
